It surprised me today because of the temporarily snow outside the building.
My first time to see snow falling…Although it didn't last for a long time, it is still amazing to see that. Wow~
Before that, in the morning, same place in the classroom, the teacher pointed out the two pigeons on the branch in front of the windows kissing with each other, and then…something happened! One pigeon lapped over the other one! Everybody laughed aloud! One colleague from Spain said 'Now it's cigarette.' We laughed even louder. That's too funny!
And in the evening about 7 o'clock, I finally met the person lived in room 1, the Hong Kong 'Guy' - that's a mistake. She was doing her laundry. The 'guy' looks like a boy with a short straight hair almost reached her shoulder.
One frustrating thing is that my chip card can not be used in the ATMs here. I've tried the Cash Machine near the post office and in the entrance of the Sainsbury's ATM. Both were not working. After that, I called back home to check what's wrong with my card. They gave me a procedure to open my card. However, I remember I've done so. Therefore, I tried to follow the procedure but alas. In the end, my mom told me the ATM must have the 'cirrus' symbol on it. Consequently, I have to look for the right machine to withdraw my money. Apparently, those ATMs nearby were not the ATMs which had the 'cirrus' symbol on them. Which means I must walk to the bank at blackheath about 5 minutes walk. Unfortunately, the operation did not succeed again. Now the only solution is to send my card to the bank in Taiwan and wait for that card send back until the problem is fixed. So sad!
